Mr. Ball Cap's cousin, L, has been doing my hair since I moved to Dyer. She recently had a baby and now works out of her home. I take every chance I can to get over there for a baby fix!
At my last appointment with her, I gave her a print out of looks I had found online. I was drawn to a similar style over and over again.

These pictures are all over wedding websites and Pinterest boards and many brides before me have been inspired by them as well. I love the wave and curl without it being too stuffy or structured. My hair has a slight natural wave to it anyway (if I don't straighten it) and a style similar to these would compliment my overall wedding day look.
I didn't take a before picture, but here is a picture of me with my hair down from a September shopping trip in Chicago. It has gotten so long!

And the after!
I think this look balances out my face pretty well! The feedback from the ladies at the shower was all very positive and Mr. Ball Cap thought it was pretty sassy. As this was just the trial and we only had a limited amount of time, the style wasn't as secure as it will be on the big day. After a couple of hugs at the shower, the bottom started to slip out. I'm sure L will add tons more bobby pins.
I definitely wanted an up-do and the style needed to be strong enough to hold my veil - that sucker is heavy! The final look on the wedding day will be a little more polished, but this was a great trial run. L will highlight my hair a few weeks prior to the wedding to hide some of those roots and add dimension to my color.
Any suggestions on improving this look even more? Do you think I should tweak or change anything?
